Once Apple relinquishes the iPhone Ultra stage, Amazon is poised to announce a slew of new gadgets in the coming days. Their digital fingerprints are pervasive … and I count no fewer than 16 products (!), spanning various product lines and brands.
A smattering of the confirmed devices: new Fire tablet, new Amazon Echo smart speaker (running VegaOS), Fire TV remote, at least two new Blink cameras… that appear to mirror two new Ring cameras, in addition to a new Ring doorbell, security hub, and more. And also this small but mighty mystery device.

As to some specifics, beyond the upcoming Ring Indoor Cam 4K Blink Mini 4K+ that likely share the same guts for manufacturing efficiency, the similarly paired pan-and-tilt camera duo caught my eye… as it turns out Wyze isn’t the only camera company emphasizing that functionality this fall.
And that’s just the start, as Amazon clearly has a deep lineup of new hardware waiting in the wings. But what sort of gadgetry will actually compel you to make an impulsive purchase? I, personally, am trying to deemphasize Alexa these days…
