This game looks so cool. I want it bad, but don’t want to spend the money for the guitar just for one game. What did this cost you and does the game totally rock?
Man, I’m jealous. I’m going to have to see which songs are available on XBLM, though. I spent many hours rockcing out on the PS2 version and doubt there’s much of a difference between the two.
Davis: It’s $90 retail. My birthday was last month and I told Melissa to wait and not get me a gift until 4/3. I assume it can be had online for less but I wasn’t waiting any longer. If you’re really lame you can play with the standard Xbox controller, but what’s the point? So far it’s a lot of fun – I played for about two hours last night: Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Kiss, Iron Maiden, even the Police.
Alexi: I think it has a few extra songs over the PS2 version and supposedly has improved graphics. Not sure what downloadable songs will be available, but I doubt they’ll be free.
I’ll hold off for a few months to see if Microsoft will let Hamronix release a wireless controller for it
Possum Kingdom on Medium (I’m not skilled enough for Hard – that 5th button screws me all up). Best song in the game for me.
I’m still struggling on Medium (fourth finger does it for me), but I did “beat” Easy. Shout at the Devil was a nice surprise which I am enjoying. Brings back those childhood memories.
