A few weeks back, I noticed many of my iPhone apps featured lettered logos. Representing about half the alphabet. And I was thus inspired to seek out the remainder. Most letters had multiple iTunes representatives, but L and O were particularly difficult to track down. I didn’t care for the one O I found, instead going with an Overstock.com bookmark and associated favicon. Which really isn’t cheating that much, as several of my frequent “apps” with home screen icons are actually mobile webpages — Google Reader and ZNF, for example.
Apple needs to use this for their next add – an app for every letter.
Let them find the apps with umlauts and tildes…
