Wonder what happens when the cable company recycles your DVR? In at least one case – nothing. The previous owner’s risqué programming was preserved for grandma:
The titles included several NC-17 rated programs that can be found on premium channels, including HBO’s âG-String Divas.â? Allman said she wasn’t concerned as much about finding the programs herself as she was over what would have happened if her 8-year-old granddaughter, who spends every weekend with her, found them first.
Comcast did apologize (after the woman went to the press) and said they “have guidelines and processes in place to prevent such an issue from occurring.”
