Join go90, Receive 2GB Verizon Bonus

Verizon launched a new online video service of some sort  — and I suspect I might too old, too cranky, or just too discerning to appreciate it. However, if you’re a VZW customer like me, creating a go90 account from your smartphone will net you a bonus 2GB of data for a period of three months. So why not?

  1. Let’s see how the old Intel video platform lives under the Verizon brand. Sad that my real age received a “Sorry dude” but the age of my decade younger feeling self agreed with their signup.

  2. Perhaps I’m missing a step but how do I link this to my VZW account? I downloaded the app and created an account.

  3. Brian, it should automatically indentify your Verizon line/account. Shortly after I joined, my wife got that text above. I didn’t actually say I was a Verizon customer, give my number, etc.

ggdm, Intel’s OnCue platform was really never in question. It was challenges in licensing content, managing partners, etc. Too bad Verizon didn’t somehow marry this to their FiOS TV relationships and do something like Sling TV.

  4. I created another account using the email associated with My Verizon account but haven’t got the text message yet. Was it delayed or does it come instantly?

  5. Verizon doesn’t even know my email address, so it wasn’t that. I just did it from my Verizon phone and within a few minutes (or faster) my wife had a text message. Mine is iPhone. Not sure if Android is different.

  6. I am on a business account. It does not work unless you are the admin # on the account. Dont know about F&F plans

  7. I did this, thanks for the tip… Oddly, it wouldn’t send me the text with the link to the download when I would signup from my phone, but doing it from my Wi-Fi only iPad, it worked fine. I never got the notification that I got the extra 2 GB were added to my account, but when I went back and looked, I had the extra included in my total.
