This one might be a bit outside our wheelhouse, but how can I not blog about the Barbie cleavage cam on display at this week’s Pepcom event? Apparently the Barbie Video Girl, with her chest camera implant, has been on sale for months – but Mattel didn’t market it heavily before the holiday season. The idea here is that little girls all over the country can get a chance to understand what it’s like to be Barbie; to see the world from her perspective. The camera on her front plays to a screen on her back, or you can export video to play it elsewhere through the little USB port under her shirt. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
