You will need one TiVo Bridge Adapter if your DVR cannot use a wired Ethernet cable to connect to your home network. If your DVR can use a wired Ethernet connection, you do not need TiVo Bridge; just connect a coax cable to your DVR, and you’re all set!
The TiVo-branded (Actiontec) adapter was originally unveiled at CEIDA last fall but is obviously available to both integrators and customers alike. As a FiOS household, running Verizon’s mostly sufficient router, my coaxial cable is already lit up for networking and works well in a Roamio+Mini configuration.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been wondering when/if they'd ever get around to marketing it.
They've been selling MoCA bridges (adapters) via their online store for years, now; the main point/value of this particular product is that it is a MoCA 2.0 bridge, of primary value to TiVo BOLT customers -- since the BOLT is the only MoCA 2.0-capable TiVo device.
Note that this is a TiVo re-branding of the Actiontec ECB6000, which matches the MoCA 2.0 capability of the BOLT. Those looking to maximize their coax networking bandwidth, in general, may want to consider the ECB6200 (or equivalents).

Oof. Hmmm... actually, the good news that Tivo's making this new MoCA 2.0 adapter available appears to come with associated bad news: they're no longer offering MoCA 1.1 adapters via their online store (which typically offered the best price).

TiVo sent me one for free last year when I was having some networking issues.
