So, the obvious question -- and one that I mentioned in the "will you be getting one" thread -- what will benefits be of using AppleTV version of Plex vs. Tivo and/or Samsung client because I have both.
As I mentioned there -- as of today, Tivo's plex client is limited in resolution/bit rate support. Samsung only has TOSLink out, so no "hi-def" audio. Will AppleTV solve this? What about DTS encoded audio as their specs say Dolby?
I would assume Plex can iterate much faster on a platform like iOS/tvOS versus TiVo and would ultimately be more capable due to more dedicated hardware and software resources to the tasks at hand. But it's still early - not clear what developers will have access to and how long it'll take to get quality apps out there.
